Hi! And welcome to the Library Guide for the School of Health & Human Performance.
This guide is designed to help introduce you to relevant Library resources and information available to you as part of your course.
You will find information on locating material on your reading lists, searching our resources for relevant material, as well as being able to cite and reference your work.
You can always contact your Subject Librarian for any queries, issues, or guidance with using any of our resources.
Use the menu on the right to learn more about:

As you progress in your work, links to other helpful guides and DCU resources outside the library can be found on the right also.
General Library information can be found on our main DCU Library website, and you can browse our DCU Library YouTube Channel for other helpful videos.
And check below for information on our LETS Library E-Tutorial as well!
Get started right away! Use the Search box to search a wide range of library resources in Library Search
LETS is a series of online tutorials for students to help you to locate, evaluate and use information effectively.
We encourage all new students to take time to go through LETS as this is a great and easy introduction to the Library and its resources. There is no time limit and you can work at your own pace as well as return to them whenever needed to refresh your memory.
Get more information on LETS by clicking here
Click on the logo above to go straight to Loop to Get Started, or browse the sections below. Relevant sections/modules of LETS will also be linked throughout the subject guide when appropriate
(LETS is hosted on Loop, you will need to login to access the tutorials)
There are 3 main sections:
LETSbegin, LETSfind and LETScite.
Each section has several modules to complete. You can view each module separately if you have a specific question or view them all.
