Libkey Discovery is designed to enhance the user experience of library patrons by providing quick access to digital resources, such as articles, when using DCU Library Search.
LibKey Discovery works with DCU Library Search to provide direct, one-click access to a PDF/HTML of an article where available.
A - Get PDF: Access a PDF copy of the article directly without having to select a specific database
B - Read Online: Access a HTML copy of the article directly without having to select a specific database
C - View Issue: Open the article in Browzine
D - View Journal: Open the journal in Browzine
E - Retracted Article: Access retraction notice and retraction details from LibKey. Links to access the article are present beneath the retraction details, should you still wish to proceed to viewing the article.
Libkey Link is designed to simplify the process of linking users from citations in databases and discovery services directly to the full text of articles, journals or other scholarly content available through DCU Library's subscriptions.
LibKey Link works a lot like LibKey Discovery. It displays a "Check for Full Text" option when browsing eligible DCU databases and discovery services. The "Check for Full Text" button links to the full text PDF where DCU library has a subscription. Where DCU does not have a subscription, a message to that effect will be shown.
